Winna was born in Indonesia and raised in Singapore. Winna later studied in the UK before moving to Australia to complete her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at The University of Queensland. Growing up with a mum who was a preschool principal sparked an early interest in supporting young children for Winna. This grew further while working in special school, where she saw how the right support can build confidence and independence. Winna has supported children with developmental needs and hearing impairments, as well as adults in hospital rehabilitation and mental health settings. Winna believes behaviour is a form of communication, and her goal is to help children and families express themselves, build essential skills, and participate in what matters to them most – be it learning, play, self-care, or work.
In her free time, you’ll find Winna running, hiking, baking, or cafe hopping in search of the perfect coffee.
If you think your child may benefit from occupational therapy or speech pathology, or you’re interested in partnering with us, book an appointment or get in touch.
