Georgia Gibbs

BOccThy (Hons)

Georgia has always enjoyed working with children as a teacher-aide and swim instructor, both of which lead to her choosing to work in paediatrics. Paediatric Occupational Therapy gives Georgia the opportunity to make meaningful connections with and support young people and their families to achieve their goals as best she can. No day looks the same and Georgia enjoys being creative and thinking outside the box. Georgia loves that she gets to work with a child, understand their meaningful and important occupations from their perspective and find what makes them ‘tick’. Watching them achieve their goals is most certainly a highlight.

Georgia has a special interest in working with children who experience pain, and currently works at Arthur House for a day each week. Georgia supports school aged children and young adults and enjoys working with families to problem solve, work through transitions and life stages to help them with becoming the person they want to be.
