Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from The University of Queensland in 2018. Since graduating, Melissa has worked across a variety of settings and ages and made the decision to permanently transition to Paediatrics in 2021.
Melissa loves the variety and creativity Paediatric Occupational Therapy offers and the opportunity to work alongside children and their families to achieve goals. Melissa recognises that every child has a unique personality and strengths and enjoys taking the time to get to know them and how she can best help. Melissa’s main interest areas include emotional regulation, fine motor, handwriting and helping children develop independent living skills.
Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and young family, playing netball, reading and trying new recipes.
If you think your child may benefit from occupational therapy or speech pathology, or you’re interested in partnering with us, book an appointment or get in touch.
